PRE-CONSTRUCTION:
Plan Check/Specification Review

One of the most valuable services we offer is the "Plan Check." Once the architect and consulting engineers have completed the plans and specifications, we complete a thorough review for errors, omissions or lack of coordination. This enables the design team to make corrections prior to printing the bid documents.

A properly executed plan check is invaluable for several reasons:

· bid documents can be used as contract documents, reducing blueprint costs,

· change orders are reduced, eliminating gray areas and gaps,

· RFI's are reduced, increasing construction efficiency.

Experience shows us that the cleaner and easier a set of documents is to understand, the easier the project will be to take-off, resulting in more aggressive pricing. Documents that create doubts in the estimator's mind will cause higher pricing to cover the possibility of errors or misinterpretations.
