In recent years, we've seen more than 20 percent of our work-load come from project owners calling us at the completion of their pre-construction phase to correct budget over-runs.
This kind of crisis is typically caused by a failure to identify the correct budget early in the design process where budgets can escalate beyond the project owner's funding resources. Repeatedly, we have stepped in at the eleventh hour to correct a construction budget over-run or make value engineering recommendations to meet a funding commitment.
